The Battlefront journal series came out of a simple conviction: that the struggles most people manage in private deserve more than encouragement. They deserve honest engagement. Scripture that is handled with precision, not sentiment. A clear look at what the enemy is actually doing. And a path to the kingdom of God that begins where you actually are, not where you think you should be.
Each journal draws on biblical theology, church history, and peer-reviewed research. The writing does not pretend the difficulty is smaller than it is. It stays in the difficulty long enough for the honesty to mean something, and then it moves, toward what is true, toward what the kingdom makes available, toward praise that has actually been through something.
Day Zero of every volume is free. The full 7-day arc is $24.99.

What Battlefront Press is for.
Battlefront Press exists to produce resources that take the interior life of the Christian seriously. The actual experience of carrying something privately, over time, trying to hold together the theology you believe and the reality you inhabit, rather than the performance of faith.
The journal format was chosen because writing creates honesty. Devotionals read passively often stay at the surface. You finish the page and move into the day unchanged. The Battlefront arc demands engagement: three write-in prompts that go deeper as the week progresses, open journal space with no direction, guided prayers that require you to put words to things that have held you speechless. It is harder to stay at the surface when you are holding a pen.
The series draws on a consistent set of sources: the biblical text, the tradition of Christian spiritual direction, peer-reviewed psychology and neuroscience where it illuminates rather than replaces theological categories, and the logic of spiritual warfare as Paul describes it in Ephesians 6. The enemy is named. The strategy is described. The ground is held.
How it works.
Each Battlefront volume is a 7-day journal with a free introductory Day Zero. The journals are PDF downloads, digest-sized (5.5" × 8.5"), formatted for either digital reading or printing at home. Each daily entry follows the same 13-section arc, moving from honest diagnosis through spiritual warfare engagement toward earned praise and declaration.
The volumes are topical and independent. You do not need to read them in order, and you do not need to read all of them. Start with the one that names what you are carrying right now. Day Zero is always free, it costs nothing to find out whether this is the kind of engagement you need.
Print editions are in development and will be available in the near future.
